Removal
1. Turn on the windshield wipers, then stop them in the park position.
2. Remove the protective cap from the lever mounting nut, then remove the nut.
3. Move the wiper away from the glass and remove the lever from the spindle. If necessary, carefully pry up a stubborn lever with a large flat-head screwdriver.
Installation
Before installing the lever, carefully clean its spindle. Make sure the brush is positioned correctly, then screw on the fastening nut and tighten it to the required force. Install the protective cap on the nut.
