General information
The flywheel is attached to the crankshaft flange with six M10x1 bolts. The non-symmetrical placement of the bolt holes eliminates the possibility of incorrect installation of the assembly in order to maintain balance. When installing the flywheel mounting bolts must be replaced without fail. Before screwing in, the threaded part of the new bolts is lubricated with a fixing sealant such as Loctite 547 or Loctite 270. Before installing a new gear rim, it should be heated in an electric furnace to a temperature of 400°C. The flywheel is designed to fit a clutch assembly with a diameter of 200 mm. The flywheel is provided with a TDC mark for the piston of the first cylinder, which, when performing appropriate repair work, must be combined with a response indicator on the clutch dome.
