Removal
Attention:
- If removed incorrectly, damage to the headlight or the protective element of the front bumper may occur.
- The protective element of the front bumper may be scratched.
- When removing the headlight, be careful and do not apply excessive force. Follow the prescribed removal sequence.
- Cover the front bumper guard to prevent damage to the paintwork.
- To protect the headlight, cover the inside of the fender at the end of the fender.
1. Remove the front bumper panel assembly (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter "Body").
2. Loosen the mounting bolt a few turns as shown in the figure below.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolts (arrows) shown in the figure below.
4. Unlock and disconnect the wiring harness connector on the headlight.
5. Remove the headlight assembly (1) by pulling it forward. When performing this operation, disconnect the headlight seal from the front wing.
6. On headlights with LEDs, mark the location of the ventilation hose on the headlight.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Install the headlight and secure it tightly to the bumper. Tighten the fasteners shown in the figure below.
3. For LED headlights, check and ensure that the ventilation hose is routed properly.
4. Check and ensure that the headlight is installed correctly.
