The crank mechanism includes: the crankshaft, the flywheel and the connecting rods with pistons assembled.
The crankshaft is made of steel forging. It has eight counterweight cheeks. The main and connecting rod journals of the crankshaft can be reground 3 times by 0.25 mm, i.e. from the original diameter of the main journals of 54.00 mm to 53.25 mm, connecting rod journals - from 47.80 mm to 47.05 mm. Oil channels to the bearings are carried out transversely (diagonally).
The front part of the shaft has a cylindrical surface for the pulley seat, and behind it the oil pump drive sprocket. At the opposite end there is a flange with six holes for mounting the clutch pressure plate, and then the flywheel. The flywheel is a mounting unit with a toothed rim for engaging the engine starter gear. The flywheel has a working surface for the clutch friction disk with a friction lining diameter of 228/150 mm.
The clamping disk is fastened to the crankshaft flange using special bolts backed up with adhesive mastic. The pitch between the bolt holes is irregular to ensure the correct position of the leash activating the speed sensor.
