Unscrew the screws securing the brake shield, while holding the guide pin against turning. Unscrew the brake caliper mounting from the brake shield.
Installation
The piston is set to its original position. The brake pads sit in holding springs on the brake caliper. Fasten the brake caliper using new self-locking screws on the brake shield. Screw the brake pipe to the brake caliper. Remove air from the brake system. Install the handbrake cable. Adjust parking brake. Install wheels.
Note: Follow the instructions for replacing pads. Press the brake pedal firmly several times while the vehicle is stationary so that the brake pads are in their working position. Check brake fluid level.
