Removal
1. Disconnect and remove the battery (see Section 12).
2. Lift the air intake duct away from the heater unit.
3. The supercharger is now accessible and can be removed from the heater housing. The wires must be disconnected from the supercharger terminals once they are accessible.
4. Release the clamps, separate the housing halves and remove the blower motor (see illustrations).

5. Attached to the heater blower housing is a resistor connected in series to the blower motor circuit at low and medium speeds. If required, it can be removed by separating the wire and unscrewing the two mounting screws (see photo).

Installation
6. Reinstall in reverse order. Make sure the mounting brackets are securely installed. Finally, check the operation of the blower.
