Note: When installing a new mechatronic unit, please note the following: After unpacking, do not throw away the packaging and the red cap of the ventilation tube of the new mechatronic unit. They will be required when returning the removed mechatronic unit. The "removed" mechatronic unit is returned filled with oil (plug the vent with a suitable plug). The mechatronics is identified by the letter designation of the gearbox. The "new" mechatronics is filled with the required amount of oil. Do not drain or add oil. After installing the "new" mechatronics, adapt the immobilizer.
Installation sequence
Seal the vent hole of the mechatronics of the dual clutch transmission "J743" with a suitable plug "arrow" to prevent oil from leaking out.
Before installing the mechatronics, first check all 4 gear shift forks by hand. All gear shift forks have 3 positions: Gear engaged. Neutral "N". Gear engaged. All 4 gear shift forks, one after the other, should be brought to each position once "see arrows", if necessary, slightly turning the gears for this.

Then bring all gear shift forks back to the "middle position", position "N". Clean the mounting surface on the gearbox housing, on which the Mechatronic unit will be installed later. Screw in the guide pins "T10406" by hand.
