Note: Please note the following when installing a new mechatronic: After unpacking, do not throw away the packaging and the red cap of the ventilation tube of the new mechatronic. They will be required when returning the removed mechatronic unit. "Filmed" mechatronic returns filled with oil (plug the vent hole with a suitable plug). Mechatronics is determined by the letter designation of the gearbox. "New" the mechatronic is filled with the required amount of oil. Do not drain or add oil. After installation "new" mechatronics adapt the immobilizer.
Mounting sequence
Seal vent opening for mechatronics for dual-clutch gearbox -J743- with a suitable plug -arrow- to prevent oil from escaping.
Before installing the mechatronics, first check by hand all 4 gear shift forks. All shift forks have 3 positions: Gear engaged. Neutral -N-. Transmission enabled. Move all 4 shift forks one after the other once into each position - see. arrows - if necessary, turn the gears a little to do this.

Then bring all shift forks back into "middle position", position -N-. Clean the seating surface on the gearbox housing, on which the mechatronic unit will be installed later. Screw in guide pins -T10406- by hand.
