Note.
- Necessary special devices, control and measuring devices, as well as auxiliary means:
- Oil pressure tester -VAG 1342-.
- Voltage tester (semiconductor diode test lamp) -V.A.G 1527-.
- Auxiliary measuring set -VAG 1594 C-.
1. Pull hydraulic oil pressure drop switch -F1- out of cylinder head at front left.
2. Screw the oil pressure drop switch into the gauge
3. Screw the measuring device instead of the oil pressure drop switch into the cylinder head.
4. Attach the brown tester wire to ground» (-).
5. Connect the probe (voltage indicator) to the positive battery terminal and to the low oil pressure switch.
If the light emitting diode is on
6. Replace oil pressure drop switch -F1-.
If the light emitting diode does not light up
7. Start the engine and increase the speed slowly. At an oil pressure of 0.03... 0.07 MPa (0.3...0.7 bar) the light emitting diode of the probe should light up; otherwise, replace the oil pressure drop switch.
8. Continue to increase the speed. At a speed of 2330 rpm and an oil temperature of 50°C, the oil pressure must be at least 0.2 MPa 2 bar). It is impossible that at a higher speed the oil pressure exceeds 0.7 MPa (7 bar).
