Note: Please refer to the warning in the Chapter 1.
Removing
1. The tank is not equipped with a fuel drain plug, so it is preferable to remove when the tank is empty. Before starting work, disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and pump out the remaining fuel from the tank.
2. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the vehicle and place it on axle stands. Remove the right rear wheel.
3. Remove the fuel filler cap, then unscrew the lock nut securing the filler pipe to the rear fender (see illustrations).
4. Unscrew the bolt securing the filler pipe to the wheel arch (see illustration).
5. Loosen the clamp securing the filler pipe hose to the fuel tank and separate the hose (see illustration).
6. Lower the filler tube block (see illustration). Disconnect the ventilation hoses by loosening their clamps. Seal all hoses and couplings to prevent dirt from entering the unit and fuel leakage.
Installation
7. Install in the reverse order of removal. Make sure all hoses are properly routed and securely fastened.
