Removal

1. Disconnect the cable from the pedal (Chapter 7).

2. Unhook the return spring and remove the bracket that secures the pedal to the pivot shaft; then remove the pedal (see illustration).

Installation

3. Install in the reverse order of removal. If necessary, adjust the cable (Chapter 7).
