1 – engine compartment frame assembly; 2 – upper frame mounting bolt; 3 – side frame mounting bolt; 4 – radiator; 5 – radiator mounting bolt; 6 – buffer amplifier; 7 – amplifier mounting bolt


1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect the wire connectors from the headlights.

3. Disconnect the release cable from the hood latch.

4. Remove the front buffer.

5. Remove seven bolts 7 (see the figure Front body parts) fasteners and remove the 6 buffer amplifier.

6. Unscrew the radiator mounting bolts 5 and secure the radiator 4 to the body.

7. Unscrew one side 3 and one upper 2 bolt securing the frame 1 to both front fenders.

8. Remove engine bay frame 1 from the vehicle.

9. Install the engine compartment frame in reverse order. After installation, adjust the headlights.

Tightening torques, Nm
