Open the positive battery terminal cover "1" and remove the wire leading to fuse box "2" from the positive battery terminal. Open the wire cover "6" and slide the main fuse box "3" in the direction of the arrow until it stops. Pull the main fuse box "3" upwards from the fuse box holder "5.". After disconnecting the wire leading to the box from the "5" holder, place the fuse box in front. Disconnect the positive battery terminal. Insert a relatively large flat-head screwdriver "1" gradually into the recess in the main fuse box holder "arrow", release the clamping clips by turning the screwdriver slightly and pulling upwards and remove the holder "2".

For batteries with a central vent hose, ensure that the hose is not pinched. Only in this case is it possible to ensure gas removal from the battery. For batteries without a central vent hose, ensure that the hole in the battery cover is not clogged. After installation, check the battery for tightness.



Carefully:
  • If the battery is not installed correctly or is not secured tightly, the following hazards may occur. Reduced durability due to vibrations (explosion hazard). Damage to battery plates. Damage to the battery box through the mounting plate (possible acid leakage, increased subsequent costs).
  • Insufficient safety in case of an accident.


Place the positive terminal cable between the battery holder and the battery.
