Unscrew the tension band clamp. Support the fuel tank with a tool for removing and installing the engine and gearbox. Unscrew the tank support screws. Lower the installation removal device slightly and remove the fuel tank with the assistance of a second mechanic.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions; in this case, the following instructions must be observed. Check the bleed hoses and fuel hoses for damage. Do not confuse the supply and return fuel lines and the air bleed tube (the return fuel line is blue or has a blue marking, and the supply fuel line is black). Ensure that the fuel hose couplings are securely installed. After installing the fuel tank, air must be removed from the fuel system using the air bleed valve on the fuel injection device connecting bar.

Important: After installing the fuel tank, check that the fuel supply and return lines and the air bleed tube are secured to the fuel tank.
