Roof rack mounting

For roof mounting, use only roof racks recommended by Skoda.
Carefully, so as not to damage the paintwork of the car body, pry off the plastic plugs 1 with a screwdriver. Install the trunk pillars into the opened holes of the trim 2. Mount the roof rack in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Please note: Station wagon models are equipped with racks of different designs, not described in this manual. Install this type of roof rack only at a Skoda service station.
The top rack can carry loads weighing no more than 75 kg (including the weight of the trunk), but it is prohibited to exceed the gross vehicle weight.
Please note that when transporting heavy and oversized cargo, the vehicle's handling on the road will change.
When opening, the trunk lid or hatch may hit the cargo secured to the roof.
