Removal and installation the engine control unit "J623"
Important: If the engine control unit is to be replaced correctly, the VAS 5051 must be connected and the "Replace Engine Control Unit" function must be performed.
Turn off the ignition. Remove the air filter. Loosen the connector clamps and disconnect the connectors from the engine control unit "J623".
Press the locking tabs of the "arrow" outward and to the side and remove the control unit. Installation is carried out in a similar manner, in the reverse order of actions.
Important: After installing a new control unit, the engine control unit must be activated within "Controlled Fault Detection" under the diagnostic object "Replacing the engine control unit".
