Important: The exhaust gas recirculation system is controlled by the engine control unit J248- to the exhaust gas recirculation valve "N18" with the exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer "G212" and the exhaust gas recirculation controller - V338-. EGR at idle speed is switched off after approximately two minutes. If taking relatively long measurements, restart the engine or briefly increase the engine speed above 1500 rpm. Then repeat the measurement. All hose connections must be secured with appropriate hose clamps. Replace the self-locking nuts.
1 - Seal, replace, observe the assembly position; 2 - Intake gas pipeline; 3 - O-ring, replace; 4 - Inlet pipe; 5-Intake manifold flap motor "V157", after the engine is turned off, the intake manifold flap closes for about 3 seconds and then opens again. This reduces the shock when turning off; 6 - From the charge air cooler; 7-10 Nm; 8 - EGR valve "N18" with EGR potentiometer G212- and EGR actuator "V338", before starting installation, check the sealing surfaces on the intake gas line for contamination and, if necessary, clean them; 9 - Seal, replace; 10 - EGR cooler; 11-22 Nm; 12 - Holder 13-22 Nm
