After the engine is turned off, the throttle valve in the intake manifold closes for about 3 seconds and then opens again. This reduces the shock when turning off.

Important: The exhaust gas recirculation system is controlled by the engine control unit J248 - to the EGR valve "N18" with EGR potentiometer "G212" and EGR actuator "V338". With a mechanical EGR valve having a conical tappet, different orifice diameters are possible at different valve stroke lengths. The self-locking nuts need to be replaced.
