Removal and installation the ignition switch (Skoda Fabia 5J)

Remove the upper and lower steering column covers. Disconnect the plug connector from the ignition switch and instruments. Remove the retaining varnish from both support screws "A." Loosen the support screws "A" and remove the ignition and instrument switch from the steering wheel shaft lock "Arrow.".

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions, and the following instructions must be followed. When installing, it is necessary that the ignition and instrument switch and the steering wheel shaft lock are in the same position, e.g. "Ignition on." After tightening both support screws "A," they must be secured again with locking varnish.
