Important: The integrated seal of the liquid cooling system pump must not be separated from the pump. If the liquid cooling system pump is damaged or leaking, it must be replaced along with the seal.
Modification of the key for the water pump and power steering gear "MP1-308"
To modify the fastening screws of the liquid cooling system pump pulley, it is necessary to cut out larger radii: Dimension "a" is at least 1 mm.
Removal
Drain the coolant. Remove the right front wheel arch (fender) liner. Remove the poly V-belt. Remove the water coolant pump pulley. To hold it in place, use a modified water pump and power steering wrench. Remove the liquid cooling system pump screws. Remove the liquid cooling system pump from the cylinder block.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions, and the following instructions must be observed: Install the liquid cooling system pump in the cylinder block. Tighten the coolant pump retaining bolts to 10 Nm. Tighten the coolant pump pulley bolts to 20 Nm. Install the serpentine belt. Install the right front wheel arch (fender) liner. Add coolant.
