Removal and installation the radiator (Skoda Fabia 5J)

Remove the front bumper. Drain the coolant. Disconnect the upper and lower coolant hoses from the radiator. Disconnect plug connector "1" of the fan thermal switch "F18" and plug connector "2" of the fan for additional cooling "V7".

Cars with air conditioning

Remove the main headlights. Remove the coolant line clamp screws on the fan shroud and on the radiator. After unscrewing the "arrow" screws, remove the fan shroud with the fan.

Important: To prevent damage to the condenser, refrigerant lines and hoses, ensure that the lines and hoses are not excessively stretched, kinked or bent. The air conditioner condenser must not be left hanging on the refrigerant line alone. Ensure proper hanging or support.

After unscrewing the fastening screws of the air conditioner condenser, hang it to the side. Unscrew the radiator support screws to the right and left. Tilt the radiator back slightly and pull it up.

Cars without air conditioning

Unscrew the radiator support support screws from the front right and left. Tilt the radiator back slightly and pull it up.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions. In this case, the following instructions must be observed. Pour in coolant.
