To the set-top box (adapter) "VAG 1318/201" the hose should be connected to a receiving vessel. Screw the valve on the tee clockwise into the air bleed valve until it stops.

Check attachments (adapters) and hose connections for leaks. Press the remote control button "VAG 1348/3A". As soon as fuel starts to flow out of the hose without bubbles, you should unscrew the valve on the tee counterclockwise so that the fuel stops flowing out. Place a clean cloth under the air valve. After clamping the air bleed hose, disconnect it from the attachment (adapter) "VAG 1318/20-1". Unscrew the attachment (adapter) "VAG 1318/20" (tee) from the air bleed valve on the fuel "rail" (connecting pipe of the fuel injection device). Install the cap on the air bleed valve on the fuel "rail" (connecting pipe of the fuel injection device). Build in an air filter.

Vehicles with "Airbag" are equipped with a fuel pump shut-off device triggered by a "crash" signal (shock signal). If the Airbag system modules are activated while the vehicle is moving, the fuel pump is switched off as a result of the fuel pump relay "J17" opening.
