Removal the tailgate gearmotor
1 – junction block; 2 – washer hose; 3 – nut; 4 – gear motor
1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.
2. Lift the decorative cap 11 (see the picture of the rear window wiper parts) on the 1st wiper arm.
3. Don't turn it all the way (to avoid damaging the shaft threads) nut 10 for fastening the windshield wiper arm.
4. Using pliers, pull lever 1 off the windshield wiper shaft cone.
5. Finally, unscrew the fastening nut 10 and remove the lever 1 from the shaft.
6. Remove the lower trim of the tailgate.
7. Disconnect connector 1 (see the figure Removing the tailgate gear motor) with wires from the gear motor 4.
8. Disconnect hose 2 from the gear motor fitting.
9. Unscrew the three nuts 3 of the fastening and remove the gear motor 4.
10. Install the gear motor in reverse order.
