2. Turn off the ignition.
3. Loosen the screw (arrow), shown in the figure below.
Note. If the clamping screw is loose (arrow), it is absolutely necessary that the preselector lever for gearshift control remains in position «R», otherwise the adjustment will be incorrect.
4. On the gearbox, set the gear lever to the position «R». To do this, push the shift lever in the direction of the arrow towards the Bowden cable counter-support, as shown in the figure below.
Note. The figure shows the rear view of the gearbox. -P- - towards the counter-support of the Bowden cables.
5. Both front wheels should be turned slightly in the same direction, eg. moving the vehicle forward so that the parking lock mechanism in the gearbox enters a fixed position in the parking lock gear. Only after the front wheels are completely locked, the mechanism that locks the vehicle's transmission will lock properly.
6. Move the selector lever slightly back and forth without it moving to another position.
Note. This releases the cable tightening of the preselector lever.
7. Smoothly tighten the screw (arrow), shown in the figure below, on the cable tightening of the selector lever with the appropriate tightening torque.
Note. Tightening the screw (arrow), make sure that the cable tightening of the preselector lever does not move any more.
8. Install the air filter.
