Note. You will need a new selector rod roll pin when assembling.
Removing
1. Chock the rear wheels, apply the parking brake firmly, then jack up the front of the vehicle and place it on jack stands. Remove both front wheels.
2. At the end of the gear selection rod facing the manual transmission, remove the mounting collar, providing access to the roll pin.
Note. When assembling, the standard clamp should be replaced with a more convenient screw or worm. Knock out and discard the old roll pin - it must be replaced during assembly.
3. Give a nut of an axial bolt of fastening of a rod of a choice of transfers to the basis of the lever of management RKPP/base plate. Remove the axle bolt and disconnect the stem from the axle of the shift forks in the gearbox. Remove the stem from the vehicle. Remove the axle bushing from the base of the manual transmission control lever (And).
4. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a bar of the mechanism of switching to a transmission. Remove washers and rubber pad.
5. Remove both anti-roll bars (see Section Removal and installation of racks of a bar of the anti-roll bar of a forward suspension bracket).
6. Turn out bolts of fastening of collars of support of a bar to a stretcher. Remove clamps.
7. Remove the anti-roll bar from under the car and remove the rubber bushings from the supports.
8. Carefully inspect stabilizer components for signs of wear, material aging, or mechanical damage. Particular attention should be paid to the condition of the rubber bushings of the supports. Replace defective components.
Installation
1. Put the rubber bushings of the supports on the stabilizer bar (flat sides up).
2. Place the anti-roll bar in its original position on the subframe. Install the support clamps making sure they are properly engaged at the rear of the subframe. Screw fixing bolts.
3. Install the anti-roll bars (see Section Removal and installation of racks of a bar of the anti-roll bar of a forward suspension bracket), then tighten the clamp bolts to the required torque.
4. Clear a carving of bolts of fastening of components of the mechanism of a gear change.
5. Make sure that the rubber bushings and washers fit correctly, connect the shift bar to the manual transmission housing. Lightly lubricate the mounting bolt threads with Loctite 279 or Three Bond 1305, then screw in the bolt and tighten to specification (see chapter Transmission).
6. Make sure that the axle bushing is installed correctly (OK) manual transmission control lever. Lubricate bushing (And) universal grease. Reinstall the gear selector rod, lubricate with sealant (see previous paragraph) nut thread, then screw the latter onto the bolt and tighten it to the required torque (see chapter Transmission). Using a new roll pin, connect the selector rod to the manual transmission. Secure the pin with a screw or worm type clamp.
7. Reinstall the wheels, lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten the wheel bolts to specification.
