Replacing the rubber-metal support on the removed bracket (Skoda Fabia 5J)

Remove the lower front suspension arm. Remove the bracket. Disconnect the front lower suspension arm and bracket. Clamp the bracket in a vice with protective jaws. Insert the screw "MP5-401/2" with the washer "2" and the pressure piece "T40023" into the rubber-metal support from behind. Screw the "MP5-401/2" screw into the thread in the "arrow" bracket so far that the "T40023" pressure piece fits against the rubber-metal support. Press out the rubber-metal support.

Protrusion "1" on the rubber-metal support must correspond to mark "2" on the bracket. Mark the position of the trunnion "1" on the surface of the rubber-metal support to ensure the correct position for assembly when installing it. For this purpose, use, for example,. with a felt-tip pen. Lubricate the rubber-metal support with oil.

Assemble the assembly tools according to the drawing.

When installing, it is absolutely necessary to observe the assembly position of the rubber-metal support "2". Install the rubber-metal support "2". Remove the installation tools. Build in bracket. Install the front lower suspension arm.
