Removal and installation the windshield washer reservoir
Remove the left wheel arch (fender) liner and the front bumper. Disconnect the plug connector from the windshield washer pumps "3", headlight washers "7" and from the washer fluid level sensor.
To release, turn the safety clamp on the hose connections "2" (white marking - rear window washer) and "5" (black marking - front windshield washer) and disconnect them from windshield washer pump "4". Any leaking washer fluid should be caught in a suitable container. To release, press the locking clamp and disconnect the hose with clamp "8" from the headlight washer pump "6." If necessary, pull the windshield washer pumps upward from the container (before pulling out the headlight washer pump "6," rotate it approximately 90° to the left). Remove the cap from the container neck. After unscrewing the four arrow nuts (5 Nm), remove the vessel in a forward direction.
Important: For clarity, the headlight and battery are not shown in the illustration; they do not need to be removed.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions, and the following instructions must be observed. The tubes with plastic tips should audibly click into a locked position in the connecting elements on the windshield washer pumps.
