Multifunctional module «J527» — removal and installation (Skoda Fabia 5J)

The multifunctional module is located on the left side in front of the switch on the steering column, and it is supplied in two versions: audio control, audio + telephone control.

Important: The multifunctional module has a built-in control unit. If the module has been replaced, it is necessary to check the operation and, if necessary, code it

Removal

Remove the steering wheel. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers "2". Disconnect the plug connector. Loosen the "arrow" screws (0.9 Nm). Multifunctional module "1" should be pressed out of the clamps of holder "3".



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions.
