Upper damper mount
1 – windshield wiper mechanism mounting bolt; 2 – upper damper mounting bolt; 3 – windshield wiper mechanism
1. Remove the panel in front of the windshield.
2. Make sure the windshield wipers are in the outermost position.
3. Unscrew bolt 1 (see the picture Upper damper mount) windshield wiper mechanism mounts.
4. Carefully press down the windshield wiper mechanism 3 and unscrew the upper bolt 2 securing the damper.
5. Unscrew the lower bolt 8 (see figure Steering column mount) damper mounts.
6. Remove damper 7.
7. Install the damper in reverse order.
