Steering column bracket
1 – a bolt of the lower fastening; 2 – a bolt of the top fastening; 3 – an arm of the panel of devices; 4 – an arm of a steering column
1. Remove the instrument panel (see subsection 11.6).
2. Remove the steering column (see subsection 8.3.1).
3. Remove bolt 8 (see fig. steering column mount) fasteners and disconnect the damper 7 from the bracket 4.
4. Loosen two screws 2 (see fig. Steering column bracket) top mounting bracket.
5. Unscrew the two bolts 1 of the lower mounting of the bracket and remove the bracket 4.
6. Install the bracket in place and hand-tighten the two bolts 1 of the lower fastening without tightening.
7. Torque tighten the two bolts 2 of the upper mounting of the bracket.
8. Finally, tighten the two bolts 1 of the lower mounting of the bracket to the required torque.
9. Reassemble in reverse order.
