Caution! Towing the engine should only be used as a last resort. Even if all the requirements below are met, engine damage may occur.


Caution! On models equipped with an exhaust gas catalytic converter, towing the vehicle for more than 50 m is prohibited, as fuel entering the catalytic converter will damage it.


1. On the towed vehicle, turn on the ignition, engage third or fourth gear and depress the clutch pedal.

2. After the vehicle accelerates, slowly release the clutch pedal.

3. Once the engine starts, shift out of gear to avoid collision with the towing vehicle.
