Location of the side airbag
Side airbags are installed in the upholstery of the backrests of the 2 front seats. In this case, there is an inscription 1 "Airbag" on the upper parts of the backrests.
Airbags 1 are deployed in severe side impacts only on the side of the impact (2 – seatback upholstery).
Warning! If seat belts are not fastened, the airbag may inflate and cause injury.

Caution! There should be no foreign objects between the occupant and the airbag. Therefore, cup holders and similar items should not be attached to the doors. Only light clothing should be hung on coat hooks, and heavy or sharp objects should not be left in the pockets.
Caution! Avoid strong impacts, jolts, etc., to the seat backs, as this may damage the cushions.
Caution! Do not place additional seat covers on the backs of the seats.
Caution! If you notice any damage to the upholstery or its seams near the cushion, contact a service station immediately and have the upholstery replaced.
Important! Be sure to replace any airbags that have deployed as a result of a traffic accident.
Important! The service life of airbags is 15 years. After this period, they must be replaced.
Warning! You could be injured if the airbag deploys if you are not sitting properly in the seat.
After turning on the ignition, the control lamp 18 lights up in the instrument cluster for a few seconds (see figure Instrument cluster) – the system is controlled automatically.
