- a) The engine must be in good working order;
- b) The engine oil should have been changed recently;
- c) The engine must be warmed up to approximately 70°C (the pointer arrow is in the middle of the scale);
- d) The ignition timing angle should be 0°÷2°;
- e) There must be no leaks in the carburetor's seal on the intake manifold and the manifold on the cylinder head;
- f) Spark plugs must be tightened to the required torque;
- g) A new air cleaner filter element must be installed (except for the first warranty inspection);
- h) There should be no kinks in the cable or other faults in the throttle drive system;
- i) All consumers of electricity (except for the ignition system) should be turned off;
- j) The ventilation hose connecting the cylinder head to the air cleaner must be pinched;
- k) The air-fuel mixture enrichment system must be switched off - the screw (3) must not rest against the stepped pulley;
- l) The air cleaner thermostat must be in good working order.
The check is carried out using a tachometer. If the result of measuring the crankshaft speed is outside the permissible range (see Specifications), it is necessary to make the appropriate adjustment by turning the adjusting screw (1).
