- a) The engine must be in good condition;
- b) The engine oil must have been recently changed;
- c) The engine must be warmed up to approximately 70°C (the pointer is in the middle of the scale);
- d) The ignition timing must be 0°÷2°;
- e) There should be no violations of the tightness of the carburetor landing on the intake pipeline and the pipeline on the cylinder head;
- f) The spark plugs must be tightened to the required torque;
- g) A new air cleaner element must be installed (except for the first warranty inspection);
- h) In the throttle drive system, there should be no cable breaks or other malfunctions;
- i) All consumers of electricity (except for the ignition system) must be turned off;
- j) The ventilation hose connecting the cylinder head to the air cleaner must be pinched;
- k) The air-fuel mixture enrichment system must be disabled - screw (3) should not rest against the stepped pulley;
- l) The air cleaner thermostat should be good.
The check is made using a tachometer. If the measurement result of the crankshaft speed is out of range (see specs), it is necessary to make an appropriate adjustment by turning the adjusting screw (1).
