Removal and installation the radiator (Skoda Fabia 5J)

Remove the front bumper. Remove the main front headlights. Drain the coolant. Disconnect plug connector "1" from coolant fan thermal switch "F18" and disconnect plug connector "2" on the fan housing. Disconnect the coolant hoses at the top and bottom "3" from the radiator fittings.



After removing the "arrow" screws, remove the fan housing downwards.

Important: Also, for vehicles with air conditioning, the screw must be removed (at the top of the fan housing), air conditioner pipeline pipe holding holder.

For cars with air conditioning

Important: Do not hang the capacitor on the wires. The condenser hoses must not be bent excessively (broken).

Unscrew the mounting bolts of the condenser "arrows". Remove the bolt of the lower condenser pipe bracket from the radiator. Hang or support the capacitor so that it is not damaged when removing the radiator.

For all cars

Remove the radiator support screws. After moving the radiator towards the engine, remove it in a downward direction.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions, and the following instructions must be followed. Replace O-rings and sealing rings. Pour in coolant.
