Checking the resistance of the secondary circuit of the ignition module of 1.4 l, 55 and 74 kW engines
1. Connect an ohmmeter to the high-voltage terminals of the first and fourth, and then the second and third cylinders, as shown in the figure Checking the resistance of the secondary circuit of the ignition module of 1.4 l, 55 and 74 kW engines.
2. In both cases, the ohmmeter should show a resistance of 4–6 kOhm at a temperature of 20°C.
3. If the resistance differs from the specified value in any case, replace the ignition module.
