Removal and installation the heater control device (Skoda Fabia 5J)

Remove the key from the ignition and turn off all electrical consumers. Remove the center section of the instrument panel "6." Carefully lever out the cover "5" on the heater control unit "4," which is secured with clips. Unscrew screws "7" (1 Nm). Disconnect flexible shafts "1" of the adjusting device for the air distribution flaps and "3" of the adjusting device for the mixing (temperature) dampers from the heater control device.



To disconnect, press the plastic part of the flexible shafts "arrow" and pull them out of the heater control unit "1". Slightly press the corner locks and pull the control unit toward you. Disconnect connectors.



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions, and the following instructions must be followed. Flexible shafts can be installed on the heater control device in only one single position.
