After removing the cylinder head or valve drive components, it is necessary to adjust the initial position of the hydraulic valve lifters.
1. Turn the crankshaft so that both valves of the fourth cylinder are open.

2. Loosen the lock nuts on the rocker arms of the first cylinder (1 – lock nut; 2 – adjusting screw; 3 – valve rocker arm; 4 – valve; 5 – plastic wedge).
3. Turn out the adjusting screws 2 so that a noticeable gap appears between the rocker arms 3 and the valves 4.
4. Turn the adjusting screws until the rocker arms touch the valves, and then another two turns.
5. While holding the adjusting screws in this position, tighten the locknuts.
6. Adjust the initial position of the remaining hydraulic tappets by turning the crankshaft according to the table.
