2. Connect an ohmmeter to the valve contacts and measure its resistance; it should be 22–30 ohms. If the resistance differs from the specified value, replace the valve.

3. Check the valve power supply. To do this, connect a voltage indicator with an LED to contact 1 of the connector disconnected from the valve and the engine ground. Turn on the starter, the LED should light up; if it does not light, fix the break in the wiring.
