Exhaust gas recirculation solenoid valve check (Skoda Fabia 6Y)

1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.



2. Disconnect block 1 with wires from valve 2 (3 – ohmmeter).

3. Connect an ohmmeter to the valve contacts and measure the resistance; it should be 14–20 ohms. The lower limit corresponds to the resistance of a cold valve, and the upper limit corresponds to the resistance at operating temperature.

4. If the valve resistance differs from the specified value, replace the valve.
