2. Remove the upper engine cover (see subsection 2.1).
3. Disconnect connector II of the injector harness from connector I of the wire harness.
4. Connect an ohmmeter to the following terminals of connector 2: first cylinder – terminals 7 and 5; second cylinder - 7 and 3; third cylinder – contacts 7 and 2; fourth cylinder – contacts 7 and 6. In all cases, the resistance should be about 0.5 Ohm.

5. If the resistance of any pump-injector differs from the specified one, measure the resistance directly at the pump-injector contacts.
6. To do this, remove the upper camshaft drive belt cover, the cylinder head cover, disconnect the wiring harness from the pump injector and measure the resistance.
7. If it still differs from the specified value, replace the unit injector. If the resistance is normal, replace the injector wires.
