1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the upper engine cover (see subsection 2.1).

3. Disconnect the connectors with wires from the injectors.

4. Disconnect from fuel rail 3 (see the figure Fuel rail with injectors for 1.4 l, 55 and 74 kW engines) fuel line 1.

5. Unscrew the two screws 2 securing the fuel rail.

6. Pull the fuel rail along the injector axes and remove it. In this case, the injectors should come out of the holes in the engine intake pipe and remain on the ramp. If any injector remains in the intake pipe, its sealing rings 6 and retainer 5 must be replaced.

7. Remove the 5 injector retainers.

8. Pull and remove injectors 7 from fuel rail 3.

9. Replace the 5 injector retainers if you find any cracks on them.

10. Replace any torn, cracked or loose sealing rings on the 6 injectors.

11. Install the injectors in reverse order. At the same time, lubricate the injector sealing rings with gasoline.
