1 – fuel pipe; 2 – fuel drain hose from the injector; 3 – nozzle; 4 – nozzle holder; 5 – holder mounting bolt

1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the upper engine cover (see subsection 2.1).

3. Loosen the union nuts securing the fuel pipes 1 (see the figure: 1.9L, 47 kW diesel engine injectors) and remove the fuel lines as an assembly. It is recommended to unscrew the nuts with a special key so as not to crush their edges. When removing, do not bend or change the shape of the fuel pipes, as this may cause cracks.

4. If necessary, unscrew the fuel supply bolt on the injector of the third cylinder.

5. Remove 3 fuel drain hoses 2 from the injectors. Unscrew bolts 5 and remove holders 4.

6. Remove the injectors from the cylinders. If they cannot be removed, you can make a special adapter 2 for puller 3. To do this, cut a piece of the old fuel line approximately 50 mm long with a union nut. Weld an M6 nut onto the other end of the tube. To remove injector 1, screw the union nut of the adapter 2 onto it and attach puller 3 to the adapter. Using the puller's striker, pull the injector out of the cylinder.

7. Install the injectors in reverse order, replacing the copper sealing rings.

8. Tighten the fuel line union nuts to 25 Nm and the fuel line bolt to 20 Nm.
