Diesel engine injectors 1.9 l, 47 kW
1 – fuel tube; 2 - fuel drain hose from the nozzle; 3 - nozzle; 4 - nozzle holder; 5 - holder fastening bolt
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «-» battery.
2. Remove the upper engine cover (see subsection 2.1).
3. Loosen the union nuts of the fuel pipes 1 (see fig. Diesel engine injectors 1.9 l, 47 kW) and remove the fuel lines as an assembly. It is recommended to unscrew the nuts with a special wrench so as not to crush their edges. When removing, do not bend or change the shape of the fuel pipes, as cracks may appear on them.
4. If necessary, turn out the fuel-conducting bolt on the nozzle of the third cylinder.
5. Remove the fuel drain hoses 2 from the injectors 3. Unscrew bolts 5 and remove holders 4.
6. Remove the injectors from the cylinders. If it is impossible to remove them, you can make a special adapter 2 for the puller 3. To do this, cut a piece about 50 mm long from the old fuel pipe with a cap nut. At the other end of the tube, weld an M6 nut. In order to remove the injector 1, screw the union nut of the manufactured adapter 2 onto it and put the puller 3 on the adapter. Pull the nozzle out of the cylinder by hitting the puller head.
7. Install the injectors in reverse order, replacing the copper o-rings.
8. Tighten the union nuts of the fuel pipes to 25 Nm, and the fuel pipe bolt to 20 Nm.
