Removal - cars without air conditioning
Lift the engine cover at the sides "arrow A" and remove it forward "arrow B".
Remove the upper boost air pipe "1" with connecting hose "2" "arrows". Mark the direction of rotation of the V-ribbed belt.
To release the poly V-belt, turn the tension roller in the direction of the arrow.
Lock the tension roller using the T10060A mandrel. Remove the poly V-belt; first - from the alternator pulley.
Removal - vehicles with air conditioning
Remove the lower engine cover.
For engines with the letter designation BSW
Unscrew screw "3". Remove the lower boost air pipe "1" with connecting hose "2" "arrows".
For all cars
Mark the direction of movement of the poly V-belt. To release the poly V-belt, turn the tension roller in the direction of the arrow.
Lock the tension roller using the T10060A mandrel. Remove the poly V-belt; first from the air conditioning compressor pulley.
Installing a poly V-belt
Important: Before you begin installing the poly V-belt, you must check the strength of the installation of all units (alternator and air conditioning compressor).
Check the ease of movement of the pulley and tension roller. After tightening the tensioner, install the alternator V-belt; finally - to the alternator pulley. Start the engine and check the belt operation.
