Important: The hub and joint are mated together, so they must be marked before removing them. Do not confuse the position of the treadmill assigned to them.
Tilt the hub and ball race. Press the hub and the race with the balls out of the hinge element (housing) in the direction of the arrow. Squeeze the balls out of the clip gradually.

Tilt the hub out of the raceway through the ball raceway. Inspect the joint, hub, raceway, and balls for small depressions (caused by pitting) and signs of seizure.

Important: Too much play around the hinge perimeter may be observed with alternating loads on the latter. In such cases, the hinge needs to be replaced. Smoothing and traces from the rotation of the balls do not require replacement of the joint.
Assembling the inner hinge
Install the hub through both chamfers into the cage. The assembly position is arbitrary. Press the balls into the cage. Put on the hub with the race and balls.

Important: When installing, ensure that the section with the narrower distance "b" on the hub, after installation, enters into a fixed position in the place where the section with the wider distance "a" on the "arrow" joint was previously located.

Install the hub. To do this, you need to tilt the hub out of the cage to such an extent that the balls are at a distance equal to the distance of the raceways.

Insert the hub with balls by firmly pressing on the "arrow" cage.
Checking the functionality of the hinge
The joint is mounted correctly if it is possible to move the hub by hand along its entire length back and forth. Build in the cardan shaft. Fill the hinge element (housing) with the required amount of grease - Symbol indicating the position of the illustration. Spread the remaining amount of grease into the protective cuff.

Install the protective cuff.
