Attention! Be sure to replace belts that have been critically loaded in an accident.
Attention! If the belt has a pre-tensioner, the belt must be replaced.
Attention! Before starting body work (straightening, cutting, welding, etc.), be sure to remove the front seat belts.
Attention! Do not lubricate seat belt buckles.
Attention! If the belt is frayed, torn, or otherwise damaged, be sure to replace the belt.
Front seat belt anchor
1 – height adjustment mechanism; 2 – a bolt of fastening of the mechanism; 3 – the top upholstery of an average rack of a body; 4 - upper belt loop; 5 – a bolt of the top fastening of a belt; 6 - facing; 7 - guide loop; 8 - screw for fastening the guide loop; 9 - belt lock; 10 – the lower upholstery of an average rack; 11 – a bolt of fastening of the coil of a belt; 12 – a bolt of the bottom fastening of a belt; 13 - lower belt loop; 14 - reel with belt pretensioner
1. Remove the body sill trim.
2. Remove the lower upholstery 10 (see fig. Front seat belt anchor) middle pillar.
3. Unscrew the two screws 8 fastening and remove the guide loop 7 of the belt.
4. Prying from below with a screwdriver, lift up the facing 6 of the upper seat belt anchorage.
5. Turn away a bolt 5 of the top fastening.
6. Turn away a bolt 12 of the bottom fastening of a belt.
7. Turn away a bolt 11 fastenings of the coil 14 of a belt and remove a seat belt.
8. To replace the height adjustment mechanism, remove the upper upholstery 3 of the middle pillar of the body, unscrew the fastening bolt 2 and remove the mechanism 1.
9. To replace the belt lock, remove the side trim of the seat, unscrew the fastening bolt and remove the lock 9.
10. Install the belt in reverse order.
