Towing hitch parts
1 – towing hitch; 2 – bolts; 3 – protective cap; 4 – hook with ball head; 5 – plug; 6 – screw; 7 – washers; 8 – socket; 9 – seal; 10 – socket bracket
1. Remove hook 4 (see figure: Towing hitch parts) towing hitch in accordance with the instructions supplied with it and install plug 5 in its place.
2. Remove the rear buffer.
3. Unscrew the three mounting screws 6 and remove the socket 8, disconnecting the wires from it.
4. Remove the wiring harness from bracket 10 on the towing hitch.
5. Unscrew the four bolts 2 and remove the towing hitch 1 from the vehicle.
6. Install the towing hitch in reverse order.
