Installing rear door glass

The lock, window lifter and speaker are installed on the inner door panel.
1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.
2. Move the protective cover and disconnect the wiring harness from the body pillar.
3. Remove the door trim.
4. Remove the outside door handle.
5. Using a screwdriver, remove the plug 4 (see figure Removing the rear door inner panel) from the inner panel of the 5th door.
6. Lower the door glass to gain access to the glass installation pin 7.
7. Screw a 5mm diameter screw approximately 70mm long into the expansion pin 6 (interior). Pull out the expansion pin using the screw.
8. Screw a self-tapping screw with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of approximately 80 mm into the mounting pin 7. Pull out the mounting pin using the self-tapping screw, moving the window lift cable 9 away with a screwdriver.
9. Use your hands to lift the glass and secure it in this position by inserting a wedge between the glass and the door panel.
10. Unscrew the two bolts 1 securing the lock at the end of the door.
11. Unscrew screws 2 and 3 securing the inner door panel.
12. Remove the inner panel 5 by moving it towards the front of the door.
13. Remove the wiring harness from the door.
14. Remove the lock from the inner panel and disconnect the rods from it.
15. Install the door lock in reverse order.
16. To connect glass 3 (see figure Installing the rear door glass) insert the mounting pin 4 into the glass opening of the window regulator slider 1, and then the spacer pin 5 into it. Make sure that the pins protrude at the same distance on both sides of the glass.
17. Install the inner door panel. When fastening it, tighten the screws 2 first (see figure Removing the rear door inner panel).
18. Lower the glass 3 (see figure Installing the rear door glass) down until pins 4 and 5 stop in slider 1 and with a light blow of your hand on the upper edge of the glass, fix the glass in the slider.
