Cable length 6 (see figureRemoval the heater control panel) the air distribution flap drive in a blue casing is 250 mm, the length of the cable 4 of the heater radiator flap drive in a purple casing is 256 mm.



1. Remove the instrument panel center console cover while pushing the heater control panel inward (see subsection 11.6).

2. By pressing the latch tongue 2 (see figure Disconnecting the drive cable from the heater control panel), disconnect one end of the air distribution flap drive cable 1 from the heater control panel 3.

3. Using a screwdriver, press in the latch 3 (see the figure Disconnecting the drive cable from the heater), disconnect the other end of cable 2 from the heater.

4. Remove cable 1 (see the figure Fixing the heater drive cable in the holder) from holder 2 on the heater.

5. Similarly, remove the heater radiator flap drive cable.

6. Connect and secure the air distribution flap drive cable to the adjusting device on the heater.

7. Using the cable, rotate the windshield defroster flap until it is fully open (see below).

8. Set the knob on the heater control panel to the "windshield defroster" position.

9. In this position, connect the cable to the heater control panel and secure it.

10. Secure the air distribution flap drive cable to the holder on the heater.

Please note: When the instrument panel is installed, the windshield defroster flap is not visible. In this case, connect the cables to the heater control panel and turn the fan on to maximum speed. Set the heater control knob to the "windshield defroster" position. Make sure air is coming from the windshield defroster grille and not from the footwell vents. If not, disconnect the air distribution flap cable from the control panel, rotate the air flow control knob 360°, reconnect the cable, and recheck the heater for proper operation.




11. Connect and secure the heater radiator flap drive cable to the heater lever.

12. Turn the cable clockwise until it stops.

13. Set the knob on the heater control panel to the "heating off" position.

14. In this position, connect the cable to the heater control panel and secure it.

15. Turn the air temperature knob on the heater control panel to check the operation of the heater.
