Removal and installation the glass cover

Slide the sun visor back. Fold down the sliding sunroof. After unhooking the lower casing from the clamps, remove it from the roof frame by pulling it forward. Having unhooked the upper casing "2" from the clamping clamps in the front and in the middle, release (hang) it in the rear part. Remove screws "1". Remove the glass cover upwards.

Installation
The glass cover must be installed in the "0" position. The axis of the shifter pivot must align with the "arrow" marking on the shifter. If the axis of the shifter pivot does not align with the marking on the shifter, the parallelism must be adjusted.

After installing the glass into the frame from above, slightly tighten the fastening screws "1".
IMPORTANT: Tighten the mounting screws only after completing the height adjustment of the glass cover.
Adjust the height of the glass lid.

Tighten glass cover screws "1" (4.5 Nm).

After hanging the top cover "2" at the rear, secure it in the middle and at the front using clamps. Slide the lower casing "1" back in the direction of the "arrow" and hook it at the front.

Adjusting the height of the glass lid

The glass lid adjustment must be done correctly. Fold down the sliding sunroof. Slide the sun visor back. Having unhooked the lower casing "1" from the clamps at the rear of the "arrow", remove it from the roof frame by pulling it forward. Having unhooked the upper casing "2" from the clamping clamps in the front and in the middle, release (hang) it at the rear. Loosen screws "1".

After closing the sliding sunroof, open it and close it again (to achieve correct adjustment, it is important to follow the specified sequence). Adjust the height of the glass cover at the front and rear on both sides as follows: Adjusting the glass cover at the front: "a" = 0.1 mm lower than the roof, "arrow" = direction of travel of the vehicle.

Glass cover adjustment at the rear: "b" is 0.1 mm higher than the roof. "arrow" = direction of vehicle movement. Tighten the glass cover screws (4.5 Nm). Adjust the left and right sides symmetrically.

Important: Check the height adjustment by opening and closing the sliding sunroof.
Fold down the sliding sunroof. After hanging the top cover "2" at the rear, secure it in the middle and at the front using clamps. Slide the lower casing "1" back in the direction of the "arrow" and hook it at the front.

Replacing the glass lid seal

Remove the glass cover of the sliding sunroof. Remove seal "1" from glass "2". Press the new seal into the glass. To facilitate installation, lubricate the seal with a sliding agent (eg with soapy water).
Removal and installation the sun visor

Remove the glass cover of the sliding sunroof. To make installation easier, move the sun visor back slightly. Using a lever-like motion with a screwdriver, release the sliders at the front and rear of the "arrow." Pull the sun visor "1" upward. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of actions.
Removal and installation the electric drive

Important: Removal and installation of the electric drive can only be carried out if the sunroof is closed.
Remove the electric drive cover. Disconnect the electric drive plug connector. Remove the preset adjuster. After unscrewing the arrow screws, remove the drive. Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of actions.
Important: The drive screws must be replaced with new ones (3.5 Nm) every time.
Removal the preset adjuster
Remove the cover of the electric drive "1". The cover of the lamp "1" should be removed in the direction of the "arrows". After removing the screws "arrows", remove the lamp with the controller.

After disconnecting the plug connector of the controller, remove the controller from the lamp.

Installation should be carried out in the reverse order of actions.
Electric drive regulation (position "O")

Adjustment of the "zero position" is necessary if the drive was not removed in the "zero position" or if the sunroof was opened or closed using the emergency control. The drive is removed and the wires are connected. Turn the adjustment control to select "sunroof tilted". Turn the adjustment control to select "sunroof closed". Turn the adjustment control to select "sunroof open". Turn the adjustment control to select "sunroof closed". In the "zero position" with the sunroof closed, install the drive. the "zero position" is marked in the "arrow A" window by a notch on the drive gear "arrow B".
Drive device

Turn on the ignition. Remove the electric drive cover. Disconnect the plug connector from the electric drive when opening the roof. Connect the electric drive plug connector. Close the sliding sunroof. Press the preset control in the "Sunroof closed" position for at least 3 seconds; the original installation will occur.
Parallelism control

Remove the glass cover of the sliding sunroof. The axis of the shift linkage journal must coincide with the marking on the shift linkage "arrow".
Parallelism control
Open the glass cover of the sliding sunroof halfway. Remove the electric drive. Manually push the glass cover of the sliding sunroof up to the rear stop. Install the electric drive.
Removal and installation the assembly

Important: Removal and installation of the assembly unit is carried out by two workers.
Remove the preset adjuster. Remove the shaped roof trim. Remove the water drain hoses "arrows" from the assembly unit. Electric drive "3" does not need to be removed from the assembly unit. After unscrewing screws "2", remove the assembly unit from the vehicle.
Installation
Place assembly unit "1" into the vehicle roof. After aligning assembly "1" with the roof frame, tighten it with screws "2" following the specified tightening sequence (8 Nm). When tightening screws "2," proceed from the electric drive "3" toward the rear. Install water drainage hoses. Install the shaped roof trim. Install the electric drive.
Install the preset controller.
Cleaning water drainage hoses
Front water drainage hose

The front water drain hose "1" passes through the right A-pillar, ending between the door and the A-pillar. Cleaning is accomplished by removing dirt from the water drain tap "2" and clearing the water drain hose with a Bowden cable.
- 1 - Front water drainage hose.
- 2 - Tap for draining water.
Important: For cleaning purposes, it is recommended to use a flexible Bowden cable from a tachometer with a length of 2300 mm as an auxiliary device.
Rear water drainage hose

The rear water drain hose "1" passes through the C-pillar, ending on the left side of the body behind the bumper (underneath the car on the wheel arch of the left rear wheel). The right water drain hose "1" comes out in the upper right corner (near the trunk lid hinge). Cleaning is accomplished by removing debris from drain valve "2" and clearing the drain hose with a Bowden cable. The hose does not need to be removed; simply pull it out slightly and remove the drain valve.
- 1 - Water drainage hose.
- 2 - Tap for draining water.
Important: For cleaning purposes, it is recommended to use a flexible Bowden cable from a tachometer with a length of 2300 mm as an auxiliary device.
