Important: During both checks there must not be any "gap", either perceptible or visible. During inspections, the ball joint head should be observed. Take into account any possible wheel hub bearing clearance or shock absorber strut support clearance at the top. Check the rubber cuff for damage. if necessary, replace the ball joint head.
Checking the axial clearance
Apply force to the lower arm of the front suspension, pushing downwards and then upwards again.
Checking the radial clearance
Press the wheels inward and outward with force.
