After removing the outer joint of the cardan shaft from the wheel bearing cap, tie the shaft at the top to the body. Fold the wheel hub bearing cover with the shock absorber strut outward and support it with block "1".

Install the ball joint puller as shown in the figure.
Important: To prevent damage to the threads, it is necessary to leave the nut partially threaded onto the ball joint head. Place the wheel hub bearing cap and shock absorber under the transmission removal and installation tool with the tip. When pressing out the ball joint head, be careful - there is a risk of injury: as a result of releasing the ball joint pin, the ball joint puller may fall out.

Press out the ball joint head using a ball joint puller.
Installation
Important: Observe the assembly position of the ball joint heads in accordance with the markings. If the assembly position is incorrect, the rear longitudinal tilt angle of the kingpin changes. Always install new driveshaft nuts.
Assembly position according to marking on the ball joint head
R means right
L - means left
3 - intended for vehicles with non-power steering (not available)
4 - value for vehicles with power steering "arrow" - indicates the direction of vehicle travel for vehicles with power steering
Left ball joint
The marking "L4" and "arrow" indicate the left ball joint in the direction of vehicle travel for vehicles with power steering.
R3 - means the right ball joint on a vehicle with non-power-assisted steering (not available)

Right ball joint
The marking "R4" and "arrow" indicates the right ball joint in the direction of vehicle travel for vehicles with power steering.
L3 - means the left ball joint on a vehicle with non-power-assisted steering (not available). Install the ball joint head into the wheel bearing cap.

Important: Observe the assembly position of the ball joint heads in accordance with the markings. If the assembly position is incorrect, the rear longitudinal tilt angle of the kingpin changes.
After screwing a new nut onto the ball joint head, tighten it. In this case, the ball joint head should be secured from turning to avoid damage to the ball joint. Insert the outer joint of the propeller shaft into the wheel hub bearing cap. After installing the front wheel, tighten it. Measure the car.
